DANNEMANN Group has supported my growth within the company from starting my apprenticeship back in 2018 until becoming a Brand Manager for Germany in 2024. Due to the opportunities DANNEMANN Group offered me, I gained international experiences & worked together with DANNEMANN colleagues from around the globe, which helped both my personal and professional development. In addition to the working experiences, DANNEMANN Group also supported my university studies and I wrote my thesis with a focus in marketing about a project, which I was personally responsible for. This allowed me to link both my working experiences with a theoretical knowledge. DANNEMANN Group creates a working environment, which allows you to grow and develop yourself further within the company while continuously learning.

DANNEMANN Group has a sincere interest in my development and supports my apprenticeship with extra English lessons, IT trainings and for example also an etiquette seminar. I much appreciate our strong and unambiguous core values which give me a good orientation. We have an open error culture which enables me not to be afraid to admit mistakes. There is always someone there for me to give helpful advice. I experience a consistent leadership behaviour with transparent deadlines and clear instructions. As an apprentice I am already given responsibility with real tasks that matter. At DANNEMANN Group we have a strong bond and cohesion among each other, which is built through attentiveness like offering ice cream in hot weather and celebrated also at our company events.

At DANNEMANN Group teamwork is very important. We usually work in pairs or as a team on the packaging machines and we always help each other out. We as a team get along very well and we meet also sometimes outside of work. Our team leader is always there for us providing support if there is an issue or in the event of additional workload or to explain new topics. I much appreciate our positive work environment, which also includes that the team members’ well-being at work is taken very much into account and acted upon accordingly.

I foster and strengthen teamwork in my department in involving members from my different teams in our daily briefings and weekly meetings to discuss current topics and challenges. I fully trust my team as they know best about the details of their work and I give them the freedom to take daily operational decisions. Sharing and spreading knowledge, ideas, experiences and skills by conducting internal trainings across the different teams is crucial to ensure high quality of the production. It is my goal to place my team members in the right position according to their experience and skills to further develop them and to create a positive work environment. From my experience it is very important to give appreciation to my team for their hard work. Besides official rewards one of the simplest but most effective appreciation is giving them personal praise and thanks, and even a warm hug to encourage and motivate them.
